Recent ActivityInstructor: Mr. Patrick Young
The McDowell High School Band Program is in its 15th year under the direction of Mr. Patrick Young. He is a 1990 graduate of McDowell High. He attended Brevard College and UNC-Greensboro, graduating in 1994 with a Bachelors Degree in Instrumental Music Education. He is married to Jill Thompson Young, who is the music specialist at Old Fort Elementary. Their son, Daniel Vance Young is 4 and loves to visit during Daddy's rehearsals.
Class Announcements UPCOMING DATES INFORMATIONThe 3rd 6 weeks and 1st semester will end January 19, 2012. Any student that has missed a parade/performance needs an excuse note and their makeup assignment. This is the student's responsibility.
